Little known and not often advertised, every Carlyle sofa or sofa bed frame can be modified in three simple but special ways. By modifying the frame seat height (up or down), leg treatment and sometime the back pitch - a whole new look and style can be achieved. All seating support is made with 8-way hand-tied springs,  Italian hand-spun twine and  jute webbing.

 

Westminster: affords any frame a traditional Old English or French Country flair.

  • High turned legs with brass casters
  • Lots of space between the floor and the seat
  • Nail Heads and Decorative trimming where specified

High Line: affords any frame a tall, architectural hi-line, high seat styling reminiscent of the post-modern era.

  • High metal or wood legs of various shape, mostly round, tapered and cubed.
  • Lots of space between the floor and the seat
  • Nail Heads and Saddle Stitch where specified

    Low Line: affords any frame a stream-lined, low-seat styling of contemporary European design.

    • Low metal or wood legs of various shape.
    • Little space between the floor and the seat
    • Saddle Stitch and Button/Cross tufting where specified
